Important guidelines for listing pets on Zoan

1. Pets You Can List

  • •Only KCI-registered dogs can be listed on Zoan.
  • •Puppies and kittens must be 8 weeks or older.
  • •All details provided must be accurate and truthful.

2. Photo Requirements

  • •Good photos = faster sales!
  • •Minimum 3 clear, original photos required.
  • •We will provide sample images for correct photo standards.
  • •No blurred, edited, AI-generated, or screenshot images.
  • •Videos are optional but highly recommended.

3. Exotic Pets

  • •Exotic pets can be listed only if you have valid legal licenses.
  • •No banned, endangered, or protected species (example: snakes).
  • •Contact us if you are unsure about any species.

4. Shipping Cost

  • •Add the maximum shipping charge at the time of listing.
  • •Shipping cost cannot be increased later.
  • •This helps avoid confusion and keeps buyers fully informed.

5. ID Verification

  • •Every breeder or store must provide a valid Government ID (Aadhaar / PAN / DL / Passport).
  • •This is only for verification and platform safety.

6. Required Pet Documents (If Available)

Providing documents builds trust and increases sales.

Please upload any of the following if available:

  • •KCI Certificate / Valid License
  • •Health Checkup Certificate
  • •Vaccination Records
  • •Deworming Details & Other Health Papers

Even if some documents are not available, upload what you have, buyers appreciate honesty.

7. Ethical Breeding

Zoan supports only responsible and humane breeding.

  • •Maintain clean and safe living conditions.
  • •Provide proper nutrition and medical care.
  • •Avoid overbreeding or unhealthy breeding practices.
  • •Any unethical practices may lead to immediate removal.

8. Listing Review

  • •Every listing is reviewed by Zoan before going live.
  • •Listings not meeting our standards may be edited or removed.
  • •We may contact you if changes are needed.

9. If the Pet Is Sold Offline

  • •Please mark the listing as Sold or remove it immediately.
  • •This avoids buyer confusion and unnecessary enquiries.

10. Communication

  • •Respond to buyers politely and quickly.
  • •Share accurate details about the pet's breed, size, age, health, behaviour, and care.
  • •No misleading claims allowed.

11. Listing Expiry

  • •Listings may expire after 30–45 days.
  • •You can renew or update them anytime.

12. Helping During Issues

If a buyer raises concerns:

  • •We may ask for extra photos, videos, or clarification.
  • •Please cooperate so issues can be solved smoothly.

13. Not Allowed on Zoan

  • ✗Fake documents or false information
  • ✗AI-generated or edited pet photos
  • ✗Increasing price after a buyer shows interest
  • ✗Listing illegal/exotic banned species
  • ✗Forcing buyers to deal outside Zoan
  • ✗Listing sick, underage, or unfit animals

14. If Rules Are Broken

Depending on the issue, Zoan may:

  • ⚠Remove the listing
  • ⚠Temporarily suspend your account
  • ⚠Permanently ban your account
  • ⚠Report to authorities (only for serious illegal activities)
